Our client in Peterhead is looking for skilled Mechanical Engineers to join their growing team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in mechanical principles and be proficient in various engineering tools and software. This is a full time permanent position based in Peterhead.

Duties

• Develop and analyse schematics for mechanical systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.

• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance product performance.

• Conduct tests on prototypes and existing products, documenting results and making necessary adjustments.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.

Requirements

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Strong mechanical knowledge

• Experience in system design for marine applications

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-engineering stakeholders.
